About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Consumer Information, Analytics and Decisioning business unit within Experian UK. This role is a part of the Credit & Verification Services (CVS) team, which consists of nearly 100 engineering teams delivering over 200 products generating significant annual revenue for our UK business.

As Experian scales up its presence in Hyderabad and continues its technology transformation, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing, high-impact, and Agile DevSecOps-driven environment.

We’re a proud .NET house, leveraging Azure PaaS across all new services and utilizing Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD. Our team is committed to best practices, continuous improvement, and collaborative development, always evaluating new technologies to improve our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Bicep.

• Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• Ensure the security, reliability, resilience, and performance of our cloud platforms.

• Use PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks and streamline infrastructure management.

• Collaborate within Agile teams to design, build, and deliver high-quality DevOps solutions aligned with business needs.

• Document infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and DevOps best practices.

• Participate in reviews, provide effort estimates, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support the full software lifecycle, including greenfield and legacy system maintenance.

• Assist with technical troubleshooting and support fellow engineers' development.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including PaaS offerings like App Services and Azure SQL.

• Proficient in Azure DevOps Pipelines and CI/CD automation.

• Strong experience with Terraform and/or Bicep for IaC implementations.

• Scripting expertise with PowerShell for automation and system administration.

• Solid understanding of networking: IP addressing, DNS routing, firewalls, WAFs.

• Familiarity with source control systems like GitHub and Azure Repos.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security and DevOps principles.

• Experience working in Agile environments, following modern DevSecOps practices.

• Exposure to MSSQL database administration and management.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams.

Desirable / Bonus Skills:

• Experience with serverless architecture and functions on Azure.

• Knowledge of C#/.NET development.

• Exposure to AI tools and their integration in DevOps workflows.
