UST is seeking an Automation Engineer with exposure to manual testing. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and expertise:

Skills Required:

• Java, Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured, JDBC

• XML/JSON parsing

• Data-driven testing using Feature files, Excel, JSON, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage the existing framework to automate new test cases across multiple areas, including:

  • UI

  • SOAP and/or REST Web Services

  • Relational and Non-relational Databases

• Maintain and enhance existing test scripts across the above areas.

• Provide detailed updates on automation and regression execution status, with clear reporting from the framework.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to prioritize upcoming automation requirements.

• Work with functional teams and DevSecOps to coordinate data refresh (if required) and ensure proper configuration prior to regression executions.
