Lead Infant Teacher

Lead Infant Teacher (Full-Time)

Ages 6 Weeks–16 Months

We are looking for a nurturing, dependable Lead Infant Teacher who is passionate about supporting children during their most formative first year of life.

In this role, you will lead an infant classroom and support your classroom team. We are seeking someone who loves working with infants, builds strong relationships with families, and thrives in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Our owner and leadership team are on-site daily, providing support from open to close.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for infants

  • Lead and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans

  • Support feeding, diapering, and daily care routines

  • Build strong, responsive relationships with each child

  • Communicate daily with families

  • Guide classroom organization and setup to support development

  • Support your team by assisting with classroom coverage as needed

  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training

Qualifications

Teacher (Lead Preferred):

  • AA or CDA with 2 years of experience
    OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1 year of experience
    OR

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience (24 approved credit hours)

Assistant / Aide (also considered):

  • 12 ECE credits or Bachelor’s degree (Assistant)

  • High school diploma or GED (Aide)

  • Experience with infants preferred

  • Must be 18+ years old
