Lead Mechanical Design Engineer (Arabic Speaking)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of mechanical design engineers to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Create detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using CAD software for all discipline HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumping, drainage ,..etc.
• Conduct design reviews to identify and resolve any design issues or challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of mechanical designs with other project components.
• Develop and implement design strategies to meet project goals and objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in mechanical design engineering.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers in the team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all design activities. Prepare and present progress reports, project plans, and budgets to stakeholders. Diversified experience in multi-disciplinary projects, high rise, commercial, hotel, Hospitality, shopping centers, with big Engineering consultancy firms. Desired Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in Mechanical Design Engineer (Minimum 5 years’ experience in GCC - Qatar experience is mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of CAD software and proficiency in creating detailed engineering designs. Experience in leading and managing a team of engineers. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. In-depth understanding of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
• MMUP Grade A is a must.
• Prefer resident in Qatar with NOC.
