Lead Preschool Teacher for Fall 2026 (Toddler Class, 6 students)

Preschool Lead Teacher

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintains knowledge and upholds the implementation of Massachusetts EEC regulations.

2. Plans curriculum for the Infant-Toddler classroom (max 6 students) in conjunction with Program Director.

3. Instructs Assistant on material prep for class projects and activities.

4. Implements planned curriculum through a daily and weekly schedule.

5. Cleans and disinfects classroom and bathroom, and takes out the trash before leaving for the day.

6. Assumes full responsibility for all students’ safety and the program’s quality in conjunction with the Program Director, Assistants, and Administrative Director.

7. Provides care and protection for all children in the program.

8. Communicates pertinent information with Assistants, Program Director, and Administrative Director.

9. Schedules and leads parent-teacher conferences for students in their classroom.

10. Shares and teaches Christian faith values with children and families.

11. Communicates regularly with classroom parents through the Remind App.

12. Arrives on time and stays until the end of the shift; checks with Program Director before leaving to ensure all responsibilities are fulfilled.

13. Maintains a friendly, tidy, and engaging classroom environment. Instructs assistants in classroom preparations.

14. Helps plan and attends special events, trainings, and professional development sessions as requested.

15. Hours vary; 20-38 hours/week for duration of school year

Requirements:

• First Aid/CPR
• Certified EEC Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher
• Able to clear EEC Background Record Check

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
