Lead Preschool Teacher – West Virginia National Guard Child Development Center

Skies the Limit Academy, a federal government contractor, is seeking a passionate, dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team at the West Virginia National Guard Child Development Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and teaching practices
• Plan engaging daily schedules and activities tailored to children’s developmental needs
• Foster a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Model professional communication and leadership with children, families, and staff
• Utilize effective child guidance strategies to support social-emotional and behavioral development
• Lead and collaborate with assistant teachers to ensure strong classroom operations
• Maintain proactive communication with administration regarding classroom needs and challenges

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or CDA, in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience in a licensed child care setting preferred

• Successful completion of required background clearances

Pay: $18.75 - $23.78 per hour
