Lead Process Engineer
Responsibilities:

FUNCTIONALRESPONSIBILITIES

Provides guidance to the process design engineering work.

Coordinates with project discipline and lead engineers to ensure correct implementation of the design for his engineering specialty and coordinates the work of engineers within his specialty.

Prepares and reviews process engineering studies, design drawings and documents, and material and equipment specifications.

Resolves specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards.

Analyzes problems and determines critical factors for investigation.

Organizes and conducts investigations and analysis.
-
Participates in the development of new engineering methods.
-
Provides expert advice on design processes or construction methods.
-
Approves significant changes in specifications and plans, work techniques and materials.

Determines and schedules work priorities.
AUTHORITY/LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Provides technical guidance to co-workers.
-
Proposes staffing solutions and training and development opportunities.
-
Organizes and supervises work of a large group of professionals and non-professionals, or small groups of highly specialized engineers.

Provides input in performance evaluations and other Human Resources activities.

Accountable for unit deliverables.

Approve timesheets.
Requirements:
-
BS Engineering Degree and registered as a professional engineer with significant experience of 15 years.

Has experience in the hydrocarbon processing/utilities units, the oil/gas industry or refinery project/process industries and is recognized as a project/process engineering specialist.

Has experience in coordinating/managing the work internally, with other disciplines, and 3rd party/licensors.

Must have thorough knowledge of process engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
