Lead - Procurement Quality Offshore

Job Description

We are currently looking for Lead - Procurement Quality to be based in Abu Dhabi location.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Develop and maintain procurement strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
Coordinate with project teams, engineering, and construction groups to ensure alignment and effective communication of procurement requirements.
Review and approve procurement documentation, including RFQs, technical bids, and supplier quotations.
Monitor procurement progress and resolve any issues or delays in material deliveries.
Manage and track procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC and other regulatory and contractual standards and requirements.
Lead the procurement team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and staff.
Participate in risk management activities and ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place for procurement activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 15 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
At least 5 years of experience in offshore projects.
Proven experience working in a PMC role and delivering successful procurement strategies for large-scale projects.
Previous experience with ADNOC projects is a strong advantage.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier management.
Proficiency with procurement software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
