Lead QA/QC Engineer (Mechanical)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Control (QC) Engineer specializing in Mechanical Inspection to join our team for major EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will lead the mechanical QC team, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.

Your Role

As Lead QA/QC Engineer , you will:

• Lead and supervise QC activities for mechanical systems, piping, pressure vessels, and structural components.
• Review and approve inspection plans, ITPs, and welding procedures.
• Conduct and oversee inspections in accordance with ASME, API, and project codes.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, engineering, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all QC activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality processes and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in with extensive exposure to Oil & Gas EPC fabrication projects in a lead role.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related Engineering discipline)
• Qualifications: ISO 9001-2015 QMS Lead Auditor; ASNT Level II, CSWIP 301, AWS-CWI, NACCE Level II/III
