Lead – Social Media, Content & Client Strategy

About The Role

Jajabor Brand Consultancy is looking for a Social Media & Content Leader with 6–8 years of agency experience who has independently owned client accounts, built brand narratives, and led content-driven digital strategies.

This role is ideal for someone who sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and client leadership and understands how strong content and social media thinking drive brand growth and business outcomes.

This is not a performance-marketing-only role . Paid media and SEO exposure is useful, but social media strategy, content thinking, and client ownership are core .

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end social media strategy for multiple client brands
  • Own content direction, platform-wise storytelling, and calendar planning
  • Ensure brand voice, tone, and narrative consistency across platforms
  • Identify content opportunities aligned with cultural, business, and media moments

Copy & Creative Direction

  • Write and/or guide high-quality copy for social posts, campaigns, and brand narratives
  • Review and refine content created by junior team members
  • Provide creative direction to designers and creators (strong visual sense required)
  • Ensure content quality, originality, and relevance

Client Ownership & Servicing

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned digital clients
  • Lead client calls, presentations, strategy discussions, and reviews
  • Translate client business goals into clear digital and content strategies
  • Manage expectations, timelines, and delivery with high ownership

Business & Growth Support (Important)

  • Support pitch decks, proposals, and new business conversations
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Collaborate with leadership on digital scope building and pricing inputs
  • Demonstrate commercial thinking and understanding of agency growth

Team & Process Leadership

  • Guide and mentor executives and senior executives
  • Set content standards, workflows, and review mechanisms
  • Balance creativity with deadlines and deliverables

Mandatory Experience & Background

  • 6 - 8 years of experience in a digital or integrated agency
  • Strong hands-on experience in social media management and content-led strategy
  • Proven experience handling clients independently
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
  • Exposure to pitching, proposals, or business development discussions
  • Comfortable working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams

Candidates with experience as founders/co-founders of small agencies or studios are highly preferred.
