Lead store pet groomer

Overview

Hollywood Pet Center is looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Groomer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled groomer who not only excels in grooming all breeds but is also confident in leading a team, maintaining high standards, and creating a positive, professional environment.

We are seeking someone who takes pride in their craft, works well with others, and is committed to delivering exceptional care to every pet.

Job Describtion:

Grooming Excellence

• Perform full-service grooming on all breeds and sizes (bath, haircut, styling, nail trim, etc.)
• Handle challenging dogs with patience, confidence, and care
• Ensure every pet is groomed safely and to the highest standard

Team Leadership

• Oversee and support other groomers and bathers
• Train, mentor, and demonstrate proper grooming techniques
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment

Store Operations

• Help manage daily grooming operations and workflow
• Ensure appointments run smoothly and efficiently
• Assist with customer communication and satisfaction

Cleanliness & Safety

• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace at all times
• Follow all safety protocols and proper animal handling procedures
• Uphold the high standards Hollywood Pet Center is known for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years professional grooming experience
• Ability to groom all breeds, coat types, and sizes
• Strong experience handling difficult or anxious dogs
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Passion for animal care and grooming excellence
