Lead Teacher Toddler Room

Our Redeemer Christian Children’s center is a well-established, Christian early learning center with a family feel. We focus on helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and in their faith walk. We are nationally accredited and use creative curriculum where children learn through play as well as the One in Christ Christian curriculum. We have an infant program, toddler program, pre-k program, a school-age program, and a preschool that runs from September-May. We offer a fun and positive work environment with great co-workers.

We are currently looking to hire a Lead Toddler Teacher. We are looking for full-time, Monday-Friday, and hours can be anywhere between 7:00am-5:45pm. You would work with either a Co-Lead Teacher or an Assistant Teacher and with children ranging from 24 months to 33 months. Some of the tasks that are expected but not limited to:

• Caring for toddlers, including feeding, changing, playing
• Planning activities that engage the children
• Monthly Newsletter
• Weekly Lesson Plans
• Parent-Teacher Conferences (2 times/year)
• Classroom Schedule
• Developing relationships with children and families
• Ongoing Professional Development

Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate credential with two years experience OR Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or similar field and one year experience OR A similar mix of education and experience (CDA can be obtained while working with us)
• Be CPR/First Aid certified (or be willing to get certified)
• Knowledge of Creative Curriculum, TS Gold and Nurtured Heart are a bonus, but not needed.
• Be ambitious, fun loving and have a caring attitude towards children to ensure the best care for our families.
• Be in good health and be able to lift 40 pounds.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift, M-F
