Lead Toddler Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated toddler teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of preschool-aged children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of our students.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood education and development.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide individualized support to children with special needs or developmental challenges.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Organize activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development through play and hands-on experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development milestones.
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in preschool education.
  • Experience in classroom management, behavior management, or special education is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of daycare operations and toddler care techniques is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or babysitting is beneficial.
  • A nurturing attitude with a commitment to fostering children's growth and learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
