Lead Toddler Teacher older 2's classroom

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead a classroom of energetic toddlers, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes growth, exploration, and learning. Duties

  • Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for toddlers
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
  • Monitor and support individual developmental needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional growth
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians about children’s progress and daily experiences
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregivers, promoting teamwork and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and sanitation protocols

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Experience working with toddlers in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom management expertise
  • Certifications in first aid and CPR; (we can train) additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
  • Ability to manage behavior constructively and implement effective caregiving techniques
  • Proven ability to lead a classroom confidently while maintaining a warm, nurturing atmosphere
  • Familiarity with infant care, babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles that involve working closely with young children

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
