<Responsibilities>
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to toddler age groups, incorporating curriculum development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Engage children through interactive activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical development, and social-emotional learning.
- Collaborate with families to support child welfare, communicate progress, and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering or potty training, meal times, naps, and transitions while ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to foster respectful behavior and support children’s emotional well-being.
- Document developmental milestones and maintain accurate records for each child in accordance with licensing requirements and educational standards.
<Experience>
- Prior classroom experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development theories and practices specific to toddlers.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies suitable for young children to promote positive interactions.
- Background in special education or early intervention programs is advantageous for supporting diverse learner needs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and external specialists.
