Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. As a leader in the classroom, you will coordinate daily activities, implement educational programs, and foster positive behavior while ensuring each child's individual needs are met with care and professionalism. Duties

  • Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a dynamic and inclusive environment tailored to toddlers’ developmental stages
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth
  • Supervise and support assistant teachers and caregivers to maintain high standards of care and education
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation, independence, and respect among children
  • Maintain open communication with parents or guardians about each child's progress, needs, and milestones
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and health guidelines
  • Organize engaging activities that support early childhood development in areas such as language skills, motor skills, and socialization

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, particularly with toddlers
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are highly valued
  • Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to create a nurturing yet structured environment
  • Experience in behavior management techniques suitable for young children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, parents, and community partners to support children's needs
  • Passion for caregiving, teaching, and making a positive impact on young lives
