Responsibilities

• Create a safe and welcoming environment by supervising children during activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods
• Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and early learning skills
• Assist with diapering, feeding, and personal hygiene routines for infants and toddlers
• Engage children in creative play, storytelling, and social interactions to encourage emotional and social growth
• Monitor behavior management strategies to foster positive discipline and respectful interactions
• Collaborate with parents and team members to share updates on each child's progress and needs
• Maintain cleanliness of the childcare area, ensuring all toys and materials are sanitized and organized

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and developmental activities
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Classroom experience or early childhood education coursework enhances your ability to support learning milestones
