Lead Toddler Teacher

Landen's Early Learning Academy is a privately owned childcare center. The Lead Toddler 2 Classroom teacher is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the toddler classroom. The teacher will prepare lesson plans and create routines according to schedule. The teacher is expected to have skills and experience engaging children in the classroom. The teacher will observe and assess children and prepare feedback to parents. Teacher is responsible for following state rules and implementing center policies in the classroom. This role involves working with toddlers ensuring their safety, growth, and development through engaging educational activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with infants (childcare setting preferred)
• Knowledge of infant care and development
• Ability to lift, carry, and care for infants throughout the day
• Must be dependable, patient, and nurturing
• Must pass background check and meet all state licensing requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• CDA (Child Development Associate) or early childhood coursework
• CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility

Duties
