The Lead for Workplace & Village Campus Development at Qiddiya Investment Company will spearhead the strategic planning and execution of workspace and community environments that foster collaboration, innovation, and well-being. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design, construction, and operational readiness of our workplace and residential campuses, ensuring alignment with our vision of creating a world-class entertainment destination.
Key Responsibilities
Client Representation & Governance
- Act as the single point of corporate workplace authority.
- Working across Workplace specialisms translate corporate objectives into spatial, technical, and operational requirements.
- Approve project briefs, employer’s requirements, and design gateways.
- Chair technical review and design assurance forums, PCGs on behalf of Workplace.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and ESG standards.
Workplace Strategy & Master Planning
- Embed workplace principles and occupancy strategies within the Project delivery.
- Embed space planning standards and density targets set by Workplace Effectiveness.
- Work alongside Workplace effectiveness to validate master plan alignment with long-term growth forecasts.
- Develop campus technical design standards and workplace guidelines.
Design & Technical Oversight
- Working with Workplace specialisms review and challenge architectural, MEP, ICT, and security proposals.
- Ensure lifecycle cost optimization.
- Drive value engineering governance without compromising quality.
- Oversee sustainability and energy performance objectives.
Programme & Delivery Governance
- Actively participate and have line of sight across stage-gate review frameworks.
- Monitor CAPEX governance and budget adherence.
- Review risk registers and mitigation strategies.
- Align phasing with business continuity needs.
Operational Readiness & Handover
- Define operational readiness criteria.
- Align early with Workplace Operations and Workplace Experience teams.
- Oversee commissioning and post-occupancy evaluation.
Stakeholder Leadership & Change Management
- Work alongside Workplace Effectiveness and Operations to engage senior leadership across business units.
- Oversee relocation and consolidation strategy. Be seen as SPOC “anchor” giving all Change Champions confidence “Workplace has this!
- Work alongside Workplace Effectiveness ensuring we manage cross-functional governance committees and important corporate stakeholders, e.g. Finance, Procurement and HR.
- Provide executive reporting to senior leadership
Requirements-
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Facilities Management, or a related field.

12+ years delivering large-scale workplace or campus developments

Proven experience acting as client-side representative

Experience across master planning, design, construction governance, and operational readiness

Delivery of 100,000m²+ developments or multi-building campuses

Office portfolio consolidation experience (1,000+ occupants)
