Key Responsibilities of the Learning & Development Manager:
  1. Supports the smooth running of the Learning & Development Department, managing all responsibilities to the highest standards.
  2. Works proactively to enhance guest service and team experience, providing positive and responsive support for enquiries and resolving issues.
  3. Delivers on plans related to human resources initiatives and hotel targets.
  4. Collaborates with key stakeholders, managing the team lifecycle within the hotel, fostering growth, development, and performance.
  5. Manages the Learning & Development Department budget and training plan, evaluating team performance with management.
  6. Builds and maintains effective relationships with all key stakeholders.
  7. Reviews employee resourcing, compensation, development, training, and succession plans, providing recommendations to enhance performance and add value.
  8. Ensures compliance with legislation, planning and delivering due diligence activities for audits, and following up as needed.

Qualifications include proven experience in Learning & Development, excellent problem-solving skills, managerial capabilities with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach, a passion for hospitality and guest service, creative problem-solving abilities, integrity, IT proficiency, and strong communication skills.
