Leasing Consultant- Real Estate Developer Experience

Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Sales

  • Greet prospective tenants and conduct property tours
  • Explain property features, amenities, lease terms, and pricing
  • Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Convert leads into signed leases to meet occupancy targets
  • Promote available units through marketing channels and on-site activities

Lease Administration

  • Prepare, review, and process lease agreements and related documentation
  • Ensure lease applications are completed accurately and in compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes
  • Maintain accurate leasing records and tenant files

Tenant Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and new tenants
  • Assist tenants with inquiries before and after move-in
  • Handle lease renewals and provide information on rent adjustments
  • Support tenant retention initiatives

Property Operations Support

  • Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are ready for occupancy
  • Report maintenance issues identified during tours or tenant interactions
  • Ensure show units and common areas are clean and well-presented

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, company policies, and leasing regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of tenant and company information
  • Track leasing activity and prepare regular reports on leads, tours, and leases signed

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service (real estate preferred)
  • Knowledge of leasing procedures and fair housing regulations is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and sales skills

  • Ability to work weekends and flexible hours as required
