Leasing Manager

Job Purpose:

The Retail Leasing Manager is responsible for strategically managing the leasing of retail properties to achieve maximum occupancy, optimal tenant mix, and revenue targets. This includes developing marketing and leasing strategies, managing tenant relationships, overseeing lease negotiations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement retail leasing plans and strategies aligned with company objectives and asset performance targets.
• Proactively identify, source, and attract suitable tenants to fill available retail spaces.
• Negotiate lease terms, rentals, renewals, extensions, amendments, and terminations to maximize asset value.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to maintain up-to-date knowledge of current market conditions, rental rates, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with marketing and property management teams to launch promotional campaigns and leasing events.
• Prepare, review, and approve all necessary leasing documentation, proposals, and agreements.
• Ensure all leasing transactions comply with legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
• Engage with existing tenants to foster strong relationships, resolve issues, and support tenancy retention.
• Monitor and manage tenant mix to enhance customer experience and asset performance.
• Provide regular and ad hoc reports on leasing activities, occupancy rates, and revenue projections to management.
• Mentor, supervise, and support the professional development of leasing agents and coordinators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications (preferable).
