Legal Advisor- Corporate

Job Title: Legal Advisor

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reporting To: Partner / Head of Department

Job Summary

The Associate Lawyer will provide high-level legal advisory and support across multiple practice areas, including Corporate & Commercial, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate, FinTech, Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Employment & Labour Disputes, Intellectual Property, Succession Planning, DIFC Wills, and Litigation. The role involves both contentious and non-contentious matters across mainland UAE, DIFC, ADGM, and various freezones, ensuring clients receive strategic, practical, and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities Corporate & Commercial
  • Provide legal advisory services on corporate structuring, company formation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and commercial documents.
  • Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including strategic planning, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and post-transaction integration.
  • Handle legal matters related to real estate transactions, leases, and property disputes.
  • Provide guidance on technology, media, telecom, and FinTech-related legal matters.
  • Advise on licensing, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property matters.
Employment & Labour
  • Advise clients on employment law issues, disputes, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings and provide strategic advice on dispute resolution.
  • Prepare legal documentation, submissions, and case strategies.
Succession Planning & DIFC Wills
  • Draft DIFC Wills and advise on succession planning and asset protection strategies.
Client Relationship & Coordination
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring prompt and accurate legal support.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement legal strategies.
  • Support business development initiatives by providing legal insights and advisory.
Other Responsibilities
  • Stay updated on UAE laws, regulations, and industry developments.
  • Participate in seminars, panel discussions, and training programs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and paralegals.
Qualifications & Experience
  • LLB Hons Law Graduate, qualified with Dubai Legal Affairs Department.
  • Minimum 5+ years of legal experience in the UAE.
  • Strong experience in Corporate, Commercial, M&A, Real Estate, FinTech, TMT, Employment, Litigation, and DIFC Wills.
  • Proven track record in drafting, negotiation, and advisory services.

Knowledge of UAE mainland, DIFC, ADGM, and freezone regulations.

Excellent communication, analytical, and client management skills.
