Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters in Qatar.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with Qatari labor law, corporate governance requirements, and industry regulations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and dispute resolution when necessary.
- Advise management on potential legal risks and strategies for mitigation.
- Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal firms.
- Handle employee-related legal matters, including employment contracts, disputes, and disciplinary actions.
- Keep management updated on changes in Qatari laws and regulations that may impact business operations.
- Support the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree (LLM) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law.
- Strong knowledge of Qatari labor law, civil law, and commercial legislation.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, advisory, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Valid Qatar Driving License.
- Knowledge of PRO (Public Relations Officer) work is an added advantage.
