We are looking for a dynamic Legal & Liaisoning Executive to join our fast-growing construction and real estate startup. The role involves managing all legal documentation, ensuring statutory compliance, and coordinating with government authorities for project approvals and clearances. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in real estate regulations, local body approvals, and land-related documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesLegal

  • Draft, vet, and manage agreements, MoUs, and contracts related to land acquisition, vendors, and clients.
  • Handle property title verification, due diligence, and legal opinion coordination.
  • Ensure RERA registration and compliance for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Maintain proper records of legal documents, agreements, and project files.
  • Coordinate with external advocates for litigation and arbitration cases when required.

Liaisoning

  • Liaise with local and state government departments such as CMDA, DTCP, TN RERA, Revenue, Municipality, and Pollution Control Board for necessary project approvals and NOCs.
  • Follow up for permits, licenses, building plan sanctions, and other statutory clearances.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and consultants.
  • Track and renew company registrations, licenses, and approvals periodically.

Advisory & Coordination

  • Advise management on project-related legal implications and statutory changes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Projects, Finance, Sales, and Admin) for document preparation and compliance needs.
  • Support senior management in drafting policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). A Master’s in Law (LLM) is an added advantage.
  • Experience: 3–8 years in legal and liaisoning functions within the construction or real estate industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of land laws, RERA, and local body approval processes.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and government offices as required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,293.36 - ₹51,724.19 per month
