Legal Associate or Paralegal – Real Estate Development

Job Purpose:
Support the Legal Department in providing comprehensive legal assistance to the company’s real estate development projects in Dubai and Sharjah. Ensure compliance with UAE laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist in contract drafting, review, risk management, and coordination with internal teams and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review, and revise contracts and agreements, including:

o Lease agreements

o Brokerage agreements

o Service and supplier contracts

· Support the review of transactions and activities to ensure compliance with UAE civil, commercial, and real estate laws (Dubai and Sharjah).

· Maintain organized legal records and project documentation, ensuring accurate filing and easy retrieval using Word and Excel.

· Assist in dispute resolution, claims, and client complaints in coordination with Senior Legal Counsel.

· Conduct basic legal research and summarize relevant laws, regulations, and court rulings.

· Prepare official correspondence, notices, and letters to clients, brokers, authorities, and partners.

· Assist in corporate filings and interact with government authorities, including Dubai Land Department, Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, and other relevant entities.

· Support due diligence for new projects, acquisitions, and joint ventures.

· Track contract deadlines, renewals, and regulatory compliance timelines.

· Maintain confidentiality and professional handling of all company legal matters.

· Work with Dubai Courts and UAE Federal Courts systems to support filings, case tracking, and legal procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university.

· 1–3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or corporate law.

· Fluent in Arabic and advanced proficiency in English.

· Strong knowledge of UAE civil, commercial, and real estate laws.

· Familiarity with Dubai and Sharjah real estate registration procedures is a plus.

· Strong drafting, organizational, and communication skills in English; fluency in Arabic is highly advantageous.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
