Little Joys, is an online health platform for kids, helping 2M+ parents every year solve for their child’s physical, mental and emotional development by offering age-appropriate solutions for nutrition, immunity, brain health, bone health with access to expert doctors and nutritionists.
Role Overview
The Compliance Manager will oversee compliance across Mosaic Wellness for multiple business areas, including food, cosmetics, drugs, and consumer products. The role involves licensing, product approvals, labelling and claims review, operations and facility compliance, audits, and coordination with regulators and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end compliance, under various laws applicable to food, drugs, cosmetics and other consumer products.
Support licensing, registrations and renewals under relevant laws.
Oversee licensing and product registration processes with relevant authorities.
Review and approve product labels, ingredients, packaging, and promotional claims to ensure compliance.
Conduct internal compliance audits and ensure readiness for inspections by regulators.
Provide regulatory guidance and training to internal teams, embedding compliance into business processes.
Track regulatory changes and update internal practices accordingly.
Jurisdictions Covered:
The role will primarily focus on India, while also overseeing compliance requirements for Mosaic Wellness’s business abroad including the United States, United Kingdom, and United Arab Emirates.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) / Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Medicine (MBBS) / Food Technology / Life Sciences, or related field.
Master’s in Law or Food/Drug Regulatory Science is a plus but not necessary.
Experience:
4–8 years in regulatory compliance (FMCG, Food, Pharma, or Cosmetics).
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity across multiple products or areas.
Understanding of Drugs & Cosmetics Act, FSSAI, Legal Metrology.
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks
Hands-on experience with audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with problem-solving.
While not a necessity, having a working knowledge of compliance requirements in foreign geographies like USA / UK / UAE is an added plus.
