As an international company, we are looking for a
Legal Counsel
based in
Ankara.
Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including EPC agreements, supply and subcontractor agreements, NDAs, and service contracts.

Provide contractual input during tender preparation and risk assessment stages.

Ensure all contractual obligations are understood, tracked, and fulfilled by both internal teams and external parties.

Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, legal, project management, and finance teams to ensure consistency and compliance.

Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Support in claims management, dispute resolution, and the preparation of notices and responses.

Maintain organized records of all contracts and amendments, ensuring clear documentation and version control.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal contract templates, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
University degree in
Law.
-
2–5 years of relevant experience
in contract negotiation and contract management, particularly related to
EPC projects
.

Experience may be gained from a
law firm
,
consultancy
, or an
engineering/construction/energy company
.
Key Competencies:
-
Familiarity with
EPC contract structures
; knowledge of
FIDIC contracts
is a strong plus.

Ability to
review, revise, and draft EPC contracts
and related subcontract and supply agreements.

Comfortable
participating in and managing contract negotiations
with international clients, partners, and subcontractors.

Strong
communication and coordination skills
, especially when working with internal stakeholders across legal, engineering, procurement, and commercial teams.

Excellent written and spoken English
is essential for effective communication and contract work in our international projects.
