Legal Executive

Role Overview
The Legal Manager will manage all litigation and recovery-related matters of the company, with a strong focus on NPA cases. The role involves handling legal proceedings across multiple states, coordinating with advocates, and supporting the collections team to improve recoveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters including Section 138 NI Act, arbitration, civil, criminal, execution, and enforcement cases.
• Coordinate with external advocates across states for filings, hearings, and case follow-ups.
• Review and approve legal notices, pleadings, petitions, and other legal documents.
• Support the collections team with legal strategies for difficult and high-value NPA accounts.
• Issue legal notices, manage settlements, and assist field teams in negotiations and documentation.
• Identify cases requiring legal escalation and recommend appropriate legal action.
• Track case progress, court orders, compliance, and timely closures.
• Prepare MIS reports and provide regular updates to management on legal status and risks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• LL.B. (LL.M. preferred).
• 2–7 years of experience in litigation and recovery (NBFC/banking/microfinance preferred).
• Strong knowledge of NPA legal processes and recovery laws.
• Good drafting, coordination, and communication skills.
• Kannada Language is Mandatory.
• Immediately Joiner Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,237.00 per month
