- Visit defaulters’ premises (individuals/companies) for follow-up on pending dues or default cases.
- Serve legal notices, summons, and other official documents in compliance with company/legal requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and acknowledgment of served notices.
- Support the company’s legal department in field-level execution of default cases.
- Coordinate between the company’s lawyers and clients for timely case updates.
- Assist in preparing case-related documents, affidavits, and evidence collection.
- File and collect documents from courts, tribunals, and government offices.
- Follow up on case status with court staff, advocates, and relevant authorities.
- Ensure timely submission of case-related papers to avoid delays.
- Meet clients/borrowers/defaulters for settlement discussions as per company policy.
- Negotiate repayment schedules under guidance from the recovery/legal team.
- Collect signed agreements or undertakings where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of field visits, served notices, and case progress.
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports and update the central database with case status.
- Provide evidence/supporting documents to strengthen the company’s legal position.
- Ensure that all actions comply with legal guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Handle sensitive case-related information with confidentiality.
- Avoid any misconduct or practices that could affect the company’s reputation.
- Work closely with recovery officers in default cases.
- Ensure smooth execution of repossession or recovery orders as directed.
- Assist in settlement/compromise agreements in coordination with the legal cell.
