THE ROLE ASS Advogados LLC is seeking a Legal Finance Manager to oversee the specialized fiscal operations of our firm in Mesaieed. This senior position requires a professional who can manage the unique financial complexities of a legal practice, ensuring that our billing cycles, trust accounts, and operational expenditures are managed with absolute precision and ethical integrity.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for the firm’s complete financial ecosystem, including the management of client trust accounts, complex legal billing processes, and partner distribution modeling. Your mandate includes driving the annual budgeting process and providing rigorous financial analysis on practice area profitability and lawyer productivity. You will ensure the firm remains in total compliance with Qatari financial regulations and international accounting standards, while also overseeing vendor management and payroll. As a key advisor to the partners, you will deliver executive-level reporting that identifies financial risks and opportunities for operational streamlining.

THE REQUIREMENTS This role requires at least 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, with a strong preference for candidates coming from a legal or professional services background. You must hold a degree in Finance or Accounting; a professional certification (CPA or equivalent) is highly valued. Expertise in legal-specific accounting software and advanced Excel is essential for success in this position. Professional English fluency is mandatory for international stakeholder coordination and formal legal-financial reporting.
