Job description:

Location - Andheri East, Work From Office

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

Draft, review, negotiate, and execute property-related documents including LOIs, MOUs, Lease Deeds, Leave & License Agreements, and other legal instruments.

Handle service contracts and inter-company agreements, ensuring legal accuracy and commercial alignment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure contracts that optimize operational cost-efficiency.

Extract and review legal documents using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools for due diligence purposes.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:

Manage end-to-end compliance for 1000+ retail stores across India (Zudio and Westside), ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Monitor updates in real estate, retail, and labor regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Litigation Management:

Initiate and resolve litigations in coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

Assess and mitigate legal and financial risks associated with ongoing and potential disputes.

Intellectual Property (IP) Management:

Coordinate with departments and legal counsel for Trademark filings and IP protection.

Contribute to IP valuation and brand protection strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Liaise with internal departments including Finance, Operations, and Strategy for legal input on commercial decisions.

Support due diligence activities in collaboration with finance, audit, and business teams.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of contract law, property law, and regulatory compliance.

Experience in retail, real estate, or corporate law preferred.

Proficient in managing large-scale compliance operations.

Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple legal assignments simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
