Legal Officer

Job Overview:
Human Capital HR Solutions is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Officer to support its legal and compliance functions within the insurance domain. The role involves handling litigation coordination, contract management, and legal advisory support across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all litigation matters and act as the point of contact for external legal counsels
  • Review and vet contracts, lease agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and other corporate legal documents
  • Conduct legal research related to insurance laws, corporate regulations, and succession matters
  • Assist in drafting legal documents including notices, replies, agreements, and case summaries
  • Prepare para-wise comments, briefs, and written applications within defined timelines
  • Liaise with internal departments for legal compliance and documentation across Pakistan
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of all legal cases and contracts
  • Monitor ongoing legal cases and provide timely updates to management

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of insurance laws, SECP regulations, and corporate governance frameworks
  • Familiarity with civil, corporate, and contract law practices
  • Ability to interpret legal clauses and identify potential risks
  • Strong drafting and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Professional ethics and confidentiality handling
