The Role
A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide high-level administrative and legal support to senior lawyers within a professional, fast-paced environment. This role is suited to a detail-driven legal support professional with strong corporate and regulatory experience, discretion, and the ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision. Role Overview The Legal Secretary will play a key role in supporting senior legal practitioners by coordinating legal documentation, transactional processes, and regulatory filings. The position requires close interaction with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficiency, compliance, and consistently high standards of service. Key Responsibilities 1. Draft, prepare, and manage corporate and legal documentation, including offshore entity formation materials 2. Coordinate fund registrations, regulatory filings, and government portal submissions 3. Support fund terminations and voluntary liquidations, including preparation of filings across offshore and international jurisdictions 4. Liaise with Registered Office providers, regulators, and government authorities 5. Manage KYC / AML documentation and ongoing client compliance requirements 6. Oversee document legalisation, notarisation, and apostille processes 7. Maintain accurate records using legal practice and document management systems 8. Provide billing and fee-related administrative support 9. Manage diaries, client correspondence, meetings, and file administration
Requirements
1. Recognised legal secretarial qualification 2. Minimum 3 years’ experience within a law firm or professional services environment 3. Strong understanding of legal terminology, corporate procedures, and regulatory documentation 4. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal systems 5. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail 6. Professional, discreet, and confident dealing with senior stakeholders
