    Lewis Palmer Middle School is looking for a 0.8 FTE Library/Media Specialist Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.
    Masters Degree required. Must be willing and able to promote and coordinate the use of instructional materials, technology, and equipment. This position supervises the operation of the library/media center; working closely with students and staff to provide a wide range of materials which enrich the curriculum, stimulate growth, and challenge students. Previous experience working in a middle school setting preferred. Must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado Teaching license with a K-12 Teacher Librarian endorsement. The projected start date for this position is July 31, 2026.

    The salary for this position is $48,446 - $73,848. This position is full-time (0.8 FTE) with full benefits. Exact placement on the salary schedule can only be determined by the Executive Director of Personnel upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 17 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 18, per school board policy.
