Clinical Caseworker: $2,124.60 semi-monthly
Sr. Clinical Caseworker (MSW): $2,630.00 semi-monthly
Sr. Clinical Caseworker (LMSW): $2,715.55 semi-monthly
Licensed Clinical Social Worker: $3,261.00 semi-monthly
Scheduled Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The social worker will be responsible for maintaining a caseload of approximately 12 to 13 clients on the New Outlook Program’s Ward F. Responsibilities include case management services, individual and group therapy, admission intakes and discharge coordination, along with other duties as assigned.
This position is essential for monitoring the basic psychosocial needs of clients in the New Outlook Program and for facilitating discharges to the community.
The New Outlook Program serves individuals with severe emotional dysregulation disorders and individuals with intellectual deficit disorders in need of strategies offered through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Positive Behavior Support.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive Social Service Assessments (Initial and/or Annual)
- Complete admission and discharge paperwork.
- Provide individual and/or group treatment and complete corresponding documentation.
- Write monthly/weekly summary progress notes for clients.
- Offer case management to assigned clients.
- Conduct suicide risk and other risk assessments as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on a routine basis to provide and orient treatment.
- Participate in discharge and legal processes (e.g. guardianship, conditional release applications) as necessary.
- Disseminate pertinent information to vested departments within and outside the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Eligibility:- Prior experience providing services for individuals with a severe and persistent
mental health diagnosis and other impairing conditions (substance use disorders, personality disorders, intellectual disorders, etc.)
- Working knowledge of the DSM, evidence-based practices and social work ethics are strongly encouraged.
- Degree and/or License in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred, but will consider candidates who meet the minimum qualifications.
- Provisionally and fully credentialed candidates must be professionally licensed in Missouri.
- Willing to consider individuals who are nearing completion of a MSW degree. This individual would likely qualify as a Clinical Caseworker until completion of MSW degree.
