Licensed Property and Casualty Insurance Agent

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Licensed Insurance Agent to join our team and drive our insurance sales initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to clients on various insurance products, including property, and casualty insurance. Duties

  • Engage with potential and existing clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote insurance products.
  • Conduct thorough client consultations to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems, and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Build strong customer relationships by providing exceptional service, ongoing support, and benefits administration guidance.
  • Analyze client data and market trends to identify new sales opportunities and improve sales strategies.
  • Stay current with insurance regulations, product knowledge—including health, life, property, and casualty insurance—and industry best practices to ensure compliance and expert advice.

Requirements

  • Valid state license as an Insurance Agent with the ability to sell multiple lines of insurance including property, and casualty coverage.
  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in both client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and CRM systems for client management and sales tracking.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements across different jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated analysis skills for assessing client needs and developing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Familiarity with personal lines products
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships through effective communication and personalized support.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
