Position Summary:

Renoxx Behavioral Health Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to support the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and/or adults.

This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and periodic re-evaluations.

· Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with best practices and regulatory guidelines

· Monitor patient progress and make appropriate treatment adjustments.

· Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, case managers, and other clinical staff.

· Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

· Participate in team meetings, treatment planning, and case consultations as needed.

· Comply with all state and federal regulations, HIPAA, and professional ethics standards.

Qualifications:

· M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.

· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

· Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Maryland.

· DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting preferred.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.

· Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills.

· Experience with EHR systems is preferred.

Contract Details:

Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Schedule: Flexible hours; part-time and/or full-time availability considered

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and caseload

Work Setting: In-person / Telehealth / Hybrid options available
