Life Safety Site Engineer (Architect Background)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Life Safety Site Engineer with an architectural background to join our team for large-scale construction projects in Qatar. The ideal candidate will ensure that all life safety systems and fire protection measures are designed, installed, and commissioned in accordance with local codes, international standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor installation of fire protection and life safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, smoke detectors, and emergency exits.
• Review architectural and MEP drawings to ensure proper integration of life safety systems.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with life safety codes and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve life safety-related issues.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and testing records for fire protection and safety systems.
• Assist in commissioning and testing of life safety systems.
• Ensure safety standards are strictly followed during construction activities.
• Provide technical guidance on design and installation of life safety measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in site engineering, preferably in life safety systems.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, NFPA standards, and Qatar civil defense regulations.
• QCDD Approval is mandatory.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR14,000.00 per month
