QA QC Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC- Site Engineer to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for roof repair and waterproofing works,

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all repair works comply with project specifications, approved method statements, international standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control & Inspection

• Review and approve Method Statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submittals.
• Conduct respective inspections, ensure proper installation sequence and workmanship in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.

Testing & Compliance

• Identify, document, and track non-conformances (NCRs).
• Ensure corrective actions are properly implemented and verified.
• Coordinate repeat testing where required.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and submit:

• Inspection Reports
• Daily Site Reports
• Material Approval Logs
• Testing Reports
• Completion Reports including before-and-after photos
• Maintain QA/QC records and ensure traceability of materials used.
• Verify compliance with QCS 2014, BS 8217, and project specifications.

Coordination

• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Safety Officers, and Applicators.
• Attend project meetings and client inspections.
• Ensure all works are executed in compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Support handover documentation and warranty certification

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferably in roofing and waterproofing works.
• Familiar with: QCS 2014, BS 8217, ASTM E1646-95, AAMA 501.2
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communication skills in English
• Valid Working at Height Certification (preferred).

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: QAR4,500.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
