Lifting Engineer

We’re Hiring – Lifting Engineer / Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)

Location: Saudi Arabia

Industry: Oil & Gas | EPC | Construction | Lifting & Rigging

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and implement lifting plans for routine and complex rigging operations.

Conduct site surveys, assess lifting requirements, and select suitable cranes and accessories.

Prepare Method Statements and Task Risk Assessments (TRA) for all lifting activities.

Supervise and verify equipment inspection, certification, and maintenance.

Ensure load integrity, balance, and safe lifting operations on site.

Train and evaluate lifting personnel (Riggers, Operators, Signalmen).

Ensure compliance with local authority and client safety standards.

Identify hazards, establish exclusion zones, and enforce safety procedures.

Coordinate with contractors, clients, and inspection teams for lifting approvals.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma.

LEEA Certified (Appointed Person, LEG, OCE).

8–20 years of experience in lifting operations and inspections.

Knowledge of ADNOC / Aramco standards and DNV-ST-N001 procedures preferred.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Proficient in AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office.

Must be capable of working at height and confined spaces.
