Job Summary:
The Lifting Inspector is responsible for inspecting lifting equipment, planning lifting operations, and ensuring compliance with project safety procedures and KSA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and certify lifting equipment (cranes, hoists, slings, shackles, etc.) before use.
  • Review and approve lifting plans and risk assessments.
  • Monitor lifting activities to ensure safe practices are followed.
  • Maintain updated records of lifting equipment certifications and inspections.
  • Ensure lifting operations comply with KSA safety standards and project requirements.
  • Report unsafe equipment or lifting practices immediately and recommend corrective measures.
  • Work closely with riggers, operators, and HSE team to coordinate safe lifting activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of lifting inspection experience in Solar/PV or heavy industrial projects.
  • Certified Lifting Inspector (Lifting Equipment Inspector/LEEA or equivalent).
  • In-depth knowledge of lifting operations, load charts, and rigging techniques.
  • Familiar with KSA and international safety standards.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
