Job Title: Lighting Team Leader (Oil & Gas – Short Term)

Duration: 2 Months Extendable
Start: Mid week of March 2026
End: First week of June 2026

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Lighting Team Leader for a short-term ITP assignment to support our client’s QE LNG Maintenance Project at QELNG North, based in Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar.

The Lighting Team Leader will be responsible for supervising lighting maintenance activities, coordinating manpower, and ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Oil & Gas standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Lighting Technicians on site
• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily lighting maintenance activities
• Ensure installation, inspection, and maintenance of industrial lighting systems
• Coordinate with supervisors, planners, and client representatives
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE rules, PTW systems, and site procedures
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices
• Monitor productivity and report daily progress
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to lighting systems
• Maintain proper housekeeping and documentation

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lighting Team Leader or Senior Lighting Technician in the Oil & Gas / LNG sector
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant industrial experience
• Prior experience working in LNG plants or large industrial facilities is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of industrial lighting systems and maintenance practices
• Ability to manage manpower and meet tight maintenance schedules
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Physically fit and safety-focused

Employment Details

• Salary: QAR 3,500 per month
• Working Schedule:
• 10 hours per day & 6 days per week
• Overtime: Paid for hours worked beyond 10 hours per day
• Benefits: Company-provided FAT (Food, Accommodation & Transport)
