Litigation Associate

About Us

We are a Florida-based law firm focused on personal injury litigation. We handle auto cases, trucking crashes, and premises liability. Our trial practice is growing and we prepare every case as if it will be tried. We are looking for an associate who wants to be in court, build cases, and be part of a team that takes litigation seriously. A background in insurance defense is preferred. Personal injury experience is required, or you must have extensive litigation experience that translates well into personal injury work.

What You’ll Do

As part of our Miami office you will:

• Assist a senior attorney on cases and trials while managing your own caseload
• Handle discovery in depth, from drafting and responding to taking and defending depositions
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions
• Work directly with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
• Help prepare cases for trial with exhibits, witnesses, and strategy sessions
• Support settlement negotiations and demands
• Take initiative to bring in your own cases, with support to expand into new divisions or practice areas if you have the drive and passion

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who brings:

• 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally in personal injury or insurance defense
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines at once
• Confidence in client communication and case strategy discussions
• Initiative and independence with the judgment to collaborate when needed
• Bilingual candidate preferred
• Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing

Work Setup

This role is based in Miami. We require in-office presence to start so you can integrate into the team. For the right candidate, hybrid flexibility may be available later, with up to two remote days per week.

Compensation and Growth

• Base salary between $80,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience
• Origination bonuses for cases you bring in
• Performance-based bonuses available
