A well-established California law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing Professional Liability and General Liability Defense team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators representing a range of professionals, including attorneys, judges, and other licensed professionals , in complex civil matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Defend professional liability and general liability cases from inception through resolution
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
  • Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies
  • Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work quality

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar
  • 4+ years of civil litigation experience preferred (professional liability experience a plus)
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
