Local SEO

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles, including categories, services, descriptions, images, and regular updates
• Improve rankings in Google Maps (3-Pack) using proven map ranking (greening) strategies based on relevance, distance, and prominence
• Perform keyword research (city + service based) and implement them across GBP and website
• Optimize website pages (especially location and service pages) including titles, meta descriptions, headings, content, and internal linking
• Use tools such as GSC, GA4, BrightLocal, Local Falcon, Ahrefs, or similar tools for reporting and insights
• Identify technical SEO issues affecting local rankings (indexing, schema, speed, mobile UX)
• Ensure NAP consistency across website and all external listings
• Build and manage high-quality local citations and backlinks (guest posting, niche edits, directories)
• Publish regular GBP posts (offers, updates, services) to keep profiles active
• Analyze competitors and adjust strategies accordingly
• Work closely with internal teams and your team lead to improve overall performance
• Track and improve key metrics such as calls, clicks, direction requests, and rankings
• Provide weekly reports with clear insights and action steps

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in Local SEO
• Strong expertise in Google Business Profile optimization
• Proven experience in map ranking (greening)
• Good understanding of On-Page SEO (especially location pages)
• Good understanding of Off-Page SEO (citations and backlinks)
• Experience working with USA-based clients (preferred)
• Ability to show real case studies or results (before and after)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools like BrightLocal, Local Falcon, Ahrefs, SEMrush, GSC, GA4
• Basic knowledge of schema markup and technical SEO preferred
• Strong English writing skills for GBP posts, local content, and client reporting
• Good communication skills

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
