Off-Page SEO Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Backlinker / Local SEO Specialist to join our remote team in Pakistan. This is a critical role for someone with strong hands-on experience in Local SEO, Local Citations, Map Citations, and Google 3-Pack rankings. Candidates with prior experience working in a marketing or digital agency environment will be given strong preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage high-quality, white-hat backlinks for local SEO campaigns
• Create, optimize, and maintain Local Citations on authoritative directories
• Execute Google Map Citations to improve local search visibility
• Achieve and maintain Google 3-Pack (Local Pack) rankings
• Perform competitor backlink and citation analysis
• Ensure complete NAP consistency across all listings
• Identify new local backlink and citation opportunities
• Monitor backlink health and remove or disavow toxic links when required
• Track performance using SEO tools and provide regular reports
• Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and local SEO best practices

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on Local SEO experience
• 2+ years of Local Citation building experience
• 1+ year of Google Map Citation experience
• 1+ year of proven Google 3-Pack ranking experience
• Strong understanding of local backlink strategies
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, BrightLocal, Whitespark, or similar
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a marketing or digital agency (strong plus)
• Experience handling multiple clients and local niches
• Familiarity with US, UK, or AU local SEO markets
• Strong communication, reporting, and time-management skills
