Local SEO Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a Local SEO Specialist who is deeply experienced in Google Business Profile optimization, local citations, and Google Map Pack (3-Pack) rankings.
This is not a general SEO role. We are specifically seeking someone with hands-on experience in local search ecosystems, not on-page SEO, blogging, or technical SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

- Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP) for improved local rankings
- Build, clean, and manage local citations (NAP consistency across directories)
- Improve rankings in the Google Map Pack (3-Pack) for targeted keywords
- Conduct local keyword research focused on geo-intent queries
- Handle map embedding, location signals, and proximity-based optimization
- Audit and fix duplicate listings and inconsistent business data
- Implement and manage review generation strategies (ratings & reputation)
- Track and report local rankings, visibility, and GBP insights
- Work with tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, or similar for local SEO execution
