Job Description:

LOGISTICS ANALYST PRINCIPAL

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Logistics Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the defense department and CECOM customers. You will play a crucial role in all aspects of the logistics field. You will track, order, inventory and provide detail data to the leadership and management.
  • Lead/Manage/Support Logistics Operations
  • Coordinate with vendors to purchase supplies; research, develop, and analyze data.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and turn-in of old equipment to DLA Disposition Services.
  • Manage documentation, transaction tracking, and customer service in multiple databases (e.g., GCSS-Army, LIW, AESIP, FEDLOG).
  • Supervise technicians and ensure efficient movement of goods, maintenance processing, and work orders.
  • Handle procurement, receiving, storage, physical inventories, asset management, and property control per regulations.
  • Track and update government and customer property records; manage calibration lists and drop-offs.
  • Train program personnel, coordinate property actions, and identify excess/obsolete assets.
  • Prepare and consolidate shipping documents; support logistics requirements for provisioning, spares, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Collaborate - with the government and local personal to ensure all stability to the Army units and the local Kuwait government with the work we do.
  • Drive Drive - Delivered mission-critical logistics support in a deployed environment, ensuring compliance with DoD regulations and contract requirements under Secret clearance. Managed procurement, shipping, and asset tracking across GCSS-Army, LIW, AESIP, and FEDLOG, resolving complex supply discrepancies and maintaining 100% inventory accuracy. Coordinated transportation, supported maintenance workflows, and oversaw TMDE calibration schedules to sustain operational readiness. Trained personnel on property procedures and led disposition of excess assets, driving accountability and efficiency in austere conditions.
  • Utilize Utilize - Utilized logistics systems including GCSS-Army, LIW, AESIP, FEDLOG, and GDIT Asset Management to manage procurement, shipping, receiving, and inventory control in support of deployed operations. Conducted data analysis, pricing development, and vendor coordination to optimize supply chain performance. Maintained accurate property records, executed 100% quarterly asset inventories in accordance with CDRL, and supported equipment disposition through DLA Disposition Services. Coordinated transportation using commercial and government methods; processed DD Form 1149 and supported TMDE calibration schedules. Delivered training to personnel on property procedures and ensured compliance with DoD regulations and contract requirements. Demonstrated proficiency in multi-database research, documentation, and reconciliation to resolve complex supply discrepancies and sustain mission readiness.

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • Experience: 8+ years of related experience
  • Technical Skills: Global Combat Support System certification Required.
Ability to pass medical requirements (CRC) to deploy.
  • Security Clearance Level: Secret Security Clearance Required.
  • US Passport must not expire for at least two (2) years.

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
