Description

SAIC is currently hiring a Logistics Associate to join our Surface and Aviation Solutions (SAS) team in support of the Navy Business Group. This role offers you the opportunity to support critical program elements in a complex, multi-disciplinary, and dynamic environment. This program is poised to drive transformative advancements in electronic warfare to a multitude of government customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Program Management Office (PMO) member for a multi-tenant contract supporting multiple internal and external customers.
• Manage the procurement process for goods and services required for project execution, including equipment, materials, and other direct costs.
• Responsible for the supply chain of project, including the acquisition, distribution, and disposal of products and Material
• Oversee the P-card transactions to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Review and audit transactions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Identify and address any discrepancies or instances of misuse.
• Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies
• Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports
• Collaborate with material handlers and other warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely, efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of material
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of material to and from various departments
• Audit inventory and material handling processes
• Analyze metrics relating to supply effectiveness

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s and three years of experience; experience in lieu of degree

• Must have warehouse experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Required Security Clearance:

• Must have an active secret clearance on first day of employment

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
